Good afternoon everyone.

With just one week to go until Easter and the school holidays, we are all looking forward to a relaxing break after such a big term, with both students and staff having worked incredibly hard. The children continue to show great enthusiasm towards their learning and in the playground, and while energy levels may be dipping slightly, there is a wonderful sense of accomplishment as we approach the end of Term 1.

Our Parent–Teacher Interviews are currently taking place and are progressing very well. Thank you to the many parents who have made the time to attend. These conversations are a valuable opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school and to share insights about each child’s progress. We also appreciate families being mindful of the time limits so that all parents have the opportunity for a meaningful discussion with their child’s teacher.

Yesterday's Interschool Swimming Carnival was a fantastic success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and great sportsmanship from all students involved. It was wonderful to see so many students giving their best in the pool and cheering each other on throughout the day. A special congratulations to Charlotte R for winning Year 6 Champion Girl and Esme N for her Year 4 Girls Runner Up position. We are very proud of all participants for making the day such a memorable and enjoyable event for our school community.

And finally… some exciting news on the sporting front — the Eagles WON! A small miracle perhaps, but we’ll absolutely take it! There were a few very happy supporters around the school, and it certainly gave us something to smile about this week. Woooo!

Take care everyone and looking forward to seeing you next week!

Regards

Geordie

Last minute messages to students

We know plans can change, but passing along last-minute messages to students at the end of the day is tricky and not always possible. To help keep things calm, safe, and on time, please let your child know about any transportation or dismissal changes before school starts or have an agreed back up plan (eg. If I'm not at the classroom, please go to kiss & drop)

If however, something urgent comes up during the day, please call the front office as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.

In the Catholic tradition, our parish and school are closely connected.

The parish, led by Father Giovanni, provides spiritual leadership and is responsible for ensuring we nurture students’ faith alongside academic learning. The school supports the parish by helping children grow in Catholic values, preparing them for sacraments, and encouraging family participation in parish life.

It’s essentially a partnership — the parish is the faith community, and the school is one of its key ministries. For more information about our Parish, please click here:
