Thank You Parents Thank You Parents

We want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students’ education. As many of you are aware, schools across the country have been experiencing a decline in Average Daily Attendance (ADA) over the past year. While this trend presents real challenges, we remain deeply grateful for the efforts you've made to keep your children engaged, present, and ready to learn.

We are so happy to announce that Fayette County's ADA has improved - this is a direct response to parents/guardians respecting and valuing education and working with your child's school.

We understand that illnesses, family emergencies, and other unexpected situations can affect attendance. At the same time, we know that every day a child is in school is a valuable opportunity for growth—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Your efforts to prioritize school attendance, even when it's not easy, make a meaningful difference in your child's success and our school community as a whole.

As we move forward, we’re committed to working with you to improve attendance rates and ensure that every student has the support they need to show up and thrive. Whether it’s through clear communication, flexible resources, or simply staying connected, we believe that strong school-family partnerships are key to turning this trend around.

Thank you again for all that you do. Your involvement, encouragement, and advocacy matter—and we notice.

Together, we can make every day count.
