Cunha Intermediate School
Week of September 15th to September 19th
7th Grade Field Trip Chaperones Needed - October 21st
The entire 7th grade has an opportunity to visit the Tech Museum in San Jose on October 21st. In order to make this happen, we will need 20+ chaperones to ride the bus and walk around the museum with students. Please sign up here if you are available.
*Fingerprinting and TB test not required
Reminder: Quarter 1 Progress Report Grades have been posted on PowerSchool
When you log in to PowerSchool on the website (cabrillo.powerschool.com/public), you will see the grades posted under Q1. A "P" means passing and can be used for grades A through C. If the grade is a C- or below, you will see the actual letter grade. Please also take a look at the Citizenship grades and comments (if any) as those are additional indicators of your child's progress.
If you have concerns about your child's grades, be sure to also log in to Schoology to see the grade breakdown and identify the main issue such as missing assignments, low grades on tests, etc. If you have questions about behavior or how to help your child improve, you may reach out to their teachers and counselor.
Voluntary Tuition Drive
We Need YOUR Help!
The Cunha Voluntary Tuition Drive runs from Thursday, September 4 through Friday, September 26. This year, we are aiming to raise $45,000 to support Cunha students and their teachers through classroom stipends, departmental funds and two exciting initiatives: Challenge Day and Project Reboot.
The recommended donation is $275 per Cunha Cub, although any amount is appreciated, and can be made by cash, check to Cunha PTO or online at CunhaPTO.org. Regardless of how you contribute, please encourage your student to return the blue donation envelope to their homeroom teacher. Classes who return 100% of their envelopes qualify for fun prizes and incentives.
Thank you for helping make Cunha Intermediate School an exceptional place to learn and grow!
