A Great Place to Grow
November 2025 Special Edition
Principal's News
Happy Thanksgiving!
As we head into the holiday break, we want to take a moment to share how truly thankful we are for our school community. Each day, we see kindness, hard work, teamwork, and care—and that is something to celebrate. We are grateful for our students, our staff, and our families who make our school such a special place to learn and grow.
We hope you enjoy a restful, joyful Thanksgiving filled with good food, good company, and moments of gratitude.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones! 🦃🍁
New Recess Equipment
When we return from break, we ask that students not bring toys, trading cards, stuffed animals, or sports equipment to school or use them at recess. We’ve noticed that personal items can sometimes lead to conflicts, so keeping them at home or in backpacks helps everyone have a smoother, more enjoyable recess. Of course, items needed for sports practice or afterschool activities can be kept in backpacks.
We’re excited to share that new playground equipment is on the way! Students will have everything they need to have fun and stay active during recess.
Thank you so much for your support in helping make recess a safe and happy time for all our students.
Book Fair Help Needed
Dear Murray Families,
Our annual Book Fair is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our students into a week filled with stories, discovery, and joyful reading.
We need 10 amazing volunteers on Friday, December 5th, 12:45-2:15, to help set up the library! This is a quick task, and with all hands on deck, we’ll have the space looking wonderful for the children in no time.
More information on the Book Fair itself will be out at the beginning of next week, but since the set up is so close, I wanted to get this notice out before Thanksgiving!
Here is the link to the sign up, thank you for considering a donation of time for our Book Fair!
