Week 16

This week is going faster than I imagined it would, sorry for the delay in the newsletter. Monday was a go-go day. Each school has some Spirit Days to make the weeks before Winter Break even more fun. I have put a pdf of both calendars below for each school. Feel free to participate in any or all of the days if you want to!

Bradley is also doing a food drive this month to help local families. More information is below. If any families at Ike would like to participate in the food drive, I would be happy to take it over to Bradley in the afternoons.

Back with Frog Street, this week starts our theme Safe and Healthy Me. Week one is over Safe Me.

Our Vocabulary this week: cautious, and safety rules

Photo discussion cards: Riding a tricycle and Crossing the street

This week's letters: J, j, N, n

For math we are going to be working on AB patterns in groups.

For our calm down strategy, we are relooking at our S.T.A.R. breathing strategy. Stop.Take a slow breath. And. Relax.

Bradley Food Drive

This year instead of "adopting" a family the Bradley Student Council voted on a food drive for local families. This food drive will focus on "fill the backpack" type foods that can be handed out to families that may need extra assistance over the long holiday break and in the future.

Our Student Council members will be collecting food every day at the end of the day. You can place your classes items outside your door for less disruption. Each class will earn 1 ticket for every 10 items of foodthat are brought in and a bonus ticket for "birthday cake boxes".
