Celebrating the First Day of School

95% Student Attendance Marks a Strong Start to the School Year!

We kicked off the new school year with incredible energy and excitement through our Day One, All In! initiative. Our students and staff showed up strong—95% attendance on the very first day!

Strong attendance is more than just being present. It sets the tone for the entire year, helps students build routines, and ensures they don’t miss valuable learning time right from the start. Research shows that students who attend school regularly are more likely to stay on track academically, feel connected to their school community, and achieve long-term success.

We are proud of our students, families, and staff for making the first day such a success. Let’s keep the momentum going all year long—because every day counts.

Fall NWEA Assessments: August 25 - August 29

Each year students in grades K-8 participate in Fall, Winter, and Spring Northwest Evaluation Association: Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA/MAP) assessments in English Language Arts and Math.

These assessments provide valuable insights into students' academic abilities, allowing us to measure your student's achievement and growth in K-12 math, reading, and language usage to provide targeted instructional strategies and school improvement.

For your child's testing schedule, please contact your child's school office.

A separate invitation will be sent for each child enrolled in the district, so families with multiple children will need to accept each invitation.
