Dear Clifford Families,
It's hard to believe that October is more than halfway over! We recently celebrated collecting 140 lbs of candy as a school for the Candy Drive, with Ms. Murray's class collecting 34 lbs! They celebrated with some soft pretzels and we had a school-wide pajama day! The district as a whole donated over 1,000 lbs of candy! That's amazing!
Kindergarten Walking Field Trip to the Library
We are SO excited for our Kindergarten walking field trip today and Friday! PLEASE send in your signed permission form or email your child's teacher to let her know your child has permission to attend. ANY STUDENT WHO HAS NOT RETURNED A FORM BEFORE THE TRIP WILL UNFORTUNATELY NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE TRIP AND WILL STAY BEHIND WITH A BUDDY CLASSROOM. Please email your child's teacher with any questions, thank you!

Also, please note that all sales are final as these orders are custom-made.
SIZING NOTE: the "Margaret Clifford" crewneck sweatshirts run large, so you may want to size down from your normal size. The Clifford Comets SPONGE FLEECE hoodies are incredibly soft and run TRUE TO SIZE.

- The School Store is now open! 😊💰 This school year, we will continue our Clifford Comet School Store program for our Kindergarten Comets! This is part of our PBSIS program, where students will learn and utilize math and number recognition skills, social skills, and responsibility. Students may bring in money to purchase items and/or can earn “Clifford Cash” for “Caught Being Kind” or going above and beyond during the school day. The items in the school store range from $1 up to $5. Each class will get an opportunity to shop the store approximately 1-2 times per month. On their shopping day, money should be sent in a sealed envelope or zip lock baggie with their name and homeroom teacher.

This Week's Self Regulation Tip Series strategy : Muscle Relaxation
This strategy can be used when you are feeling worried, scared, or angry. Muscle Relaxation turns off the "fight or flight" response and turns on the "rest and digest" response. We can signal our brain that it is safe to calm down.
Ask your child to show you how to do some Muscle Relaxation!
(hint: Lemon 🍋 and Balloon 🎈)
