Fairmount Elementary

Benchmark testing will take place Friday Oct. 3 - Thursday Oct. 9. These assessments help us monitor student progress and guide instruction. Please ensure your child gets plenty of rest each night and arrives at school on time. Thank you for your support in helping our students do their best!

Bristol TN City Schools will be closed October 13 - 17 for Fall Break. We will offer Fall Intersession Tuesday Oct. 14 through Thursday Oct. 16 at Fairmount Elementary. Monday Oct. 20th will be a Flexible Learning Day. Sign-ups for both Fall Intersession and the Flexible Learning Day will be sent home or may be accessed at www.btcs.org. The deadline for registration is Wednesday October 8.

As part of our efforts to improve student attendance, we are introducing a new incentive program! Last year, 17.8% of our students were considered chronically absent, and our goal is to reduce that number to 10% or less.

To help encourage strong attendance, we will be holding a special drawing for a family prize pack from The Cave Pizza! All students who are present and on time every day for the next two weeks will be entered into the drawing.

We know that being at school every day, on time, makes a big difference in your child’s learning and success. Thank you for partnering with us to help your student—and all of our students—build great attendance habits.
