First Trimester Report Cards
First trimester report cards for all students in grades K–6 will be sent home with students on Friday, November 13. Report cards were originally scheduled to be distributed on November 6; however, due to some unexpected delays, the distribution date has been moved to November 13. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please ask your child for their report card on Friday, November 13.
Report cards are an important opportunity to celebrate your child's accomplishments, recognize areas of growth, and identify areas where additional support may be needed. They provide valuable information about your child's academic progress, achievement of grade-level standards, and development of important learning skills.
Approximately one month ago, many of you participated in parent-teacher conferences. The information shared during those conferences should help provide context for understanding your child's report card, including grades, assessments, and areas of strength and growth.
At Beckman Elementary, we believe that strong communication and partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our Beckman Bobcats!
Polling Pace for Midterm Voting
On Tuesday, November 3, our campus will serve as a polling location for the Midterm General Election. Due to this, you will notice additional activity on campus from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the school library.
Our school and district staff have planned accordingly to ensure that there will be minimal disruptions to the school day during voting times. Additionally, hired security will be present on campus to help ensure that voters remain within designated voting areas.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment for our students.
Parent Café
We are excited to offer a Parent Café at Beckman Elementary beginning Tuesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Parent Café is a welcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, build relationships, learn from one another in a supportive environment, and become a better parent. Coffee, juice, water, and pastries will be provided.
The group will meet weekly through February 2, 2027, with 10 sessions (11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/16, and 2/2) in total. We hope you will join us for any or all of the sessions and take advantage of this special opportunity to connect with other Beckman families and strengthen our school community!
