Dear Parents and Guardians,

Yesterday, we made history as we held the first ever home girls wrestling match here at Northern! Thank you to all those who were in attendance for this important event.

Just down the hall, we also celebrated our JROTC Change of Command ceremony. Our JROTC students were well dressed, polished and showed their excellence through this important ceremony. Great job!

It's time to "kick-off "Northern Burlington Relay for Life and we hope that you will join us in the fight against cancer! Our Relay for Life Kick-Off is Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the NB Main Cafeteria! Stop by for some food, fun, and information on how you can become a part of this great cause! Senior Trip will be here before we know it! This year’s trip to Disney World costs about $2000. In order to help lighten the load of the scheduled payments beginning next September, we are allowing you the opportunity to make pre-payments beginning in January 2026. Pre-payments in any amount can be made at any time via cash or check payable to “NBC Class of 2027” and will go towards your trip balance. Any pre-payments will come off your final scheduled payments next year. Any student wishing to go on the trip will still be required to make the first payment in September, no matter how much they have prepaid. If you make pre-payments and your student decides not to go, we can give you a full refund in September. If your student

decides not to go on the trip after September, they may only receive a partial refund. All payments can be brought to Mrs. Duff in room 406.

Spring Athletic Registration is now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Athletics Season.

Please be advised that as of August 2025, we have a new online registration system.

If you already have an account from this year, please sign in with your username and password. If this is the first time using the system this year, please create an account to register your child.

Applications for the PTSC Community Service Student Grants have been extended to January 31, 2026. If your student is interested in completing a community service project of their choice this school year, they can apply for a grant for $250 to help fund the project. Please see the application for more information.

SFAs may be experiencing increased calls from families concerned about the potential loss of SNAP benefits on November 1st. Please note the New Jersey Basic Needs Information Hub offers a comprehensive listing of websites that can assist households in locating a local food pantry or soup kitchen. Families may also choose to access the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Food Bank of South Jersey, Fulfill, Norwescap, and Mercer Street Friends websites directly to search for local food resources.
