October 6, 2023

May 23, 2025
Dear HES Caregivers,
It was another great week at HES! Our ambassadors from 4th grade taught the whole school about sportsmanship today in preparation for Field Day. We are grateful for all who have volunteered to help us make Field Day a memorable event for our Sharks!
Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful long weekend!
My best,
Christie

Call the Attendance Line If Your Shark Is Absent
Per the handbook, if your child is unable to attend school, please enter the absence in PickUp Patrol and/or call our designated attendance line, 617-848-0115, as early as possible. Soon after arrival, our office staff begins to call the caregivers of absent students if we haven't already heard from them. This is important, as we want to ensure that all students are safe. Your phone message with the reason for the absence is all we need. While an email to the teacher is helpful, it sometimes doesn't make its way to the office staff. Thank you for your help!
Reminder: Complete parent/caregiver engagement survey!
Many thanks to those who have already completed the MRSD parent/caregiver engagement survey! This brief anonymous survey will be used to assist us with future planning for parental involvement activities and events. If you haven't yet shared your feedback, we encourage you to do so before the survey closes June 1, 2025.
