Greetings from Dr. Borgese
Tiger Community Update: Celebrating Our Volunteers & Principal for a Day!
Tiger Families -
Today was such a special day at Tynes as we celebrated the incredible volunteers who help make our school community so strong. Our Volunteer Tea was a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to the parents, family members, PTA leaders, and community supporters who give their time, energy, and heart to our Tigers throughout the year. Tynes simply would not be the same without you, and we are deeply grateful for all that you do.
Speaking of special celebrations, today was also our βPrincipal for the Dayβ experience for some of our top Jog-A-Thon fundraisers. We had an absolute blast spending the day together holding meetings, walking classrooms, finding Tigers showing their PAWS-R character traits, helping host the Volunteer Tea, supervising recess, updating our attendance wall, and enjoying a special lunch together.
A huge thank you to the families of Brysan Artz, Alofa Flores, Charlie Ai, and a special shoutout to Ellie Park (not pictured), our top fundraiser this year! Your support of our PTA and school community helps create meaningful experiences and opportunities for all students.
Thank you again to everyone who continues to support Tynes Elementary. We are proud to be part of such a caring and connected Tiger community.
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese
Principal
