Let’s fill the halls with college spirit! 🎉

Classroom Access & Check-In Procedures Classroom Access & Check-In Procedures

I want to take a moment to remind everyone of our morning procedures. To help us maintain a smooth start to the day, we ask that families do not walk students to their classrooms. When students arrive, they should enter the building on their own and head directly to class. This helps us promote independence for our students and ensures teachers can begin their day without interruption.

If you would like to connect with your child’s teacher, please schedule a time in advance. Our teachers want to partner with you and value communication, but it is important that we protect their planning and instructional time so that every student can get the most out of their school day.

If your student arrives late, we do ask that you walk with them to the office to check in. Once they are signed in, we will make sure they get safely to class.

Thank you for your support in keeping our school day running smoothly. Together, we can make sure our students are set up for success from the very start of the day.

Minor Incident Reports (MIR) Minor Incident Reports (MIR)

At Nob Hill, we work hard to support students in making positive choices throughout the school day. One of the tools we use is the Minor Incident Report (MIR).

Students may receive a MIR if they are not following directions after three reminders to adjust their behavior. If your student receives a MIR, you will be notified through ParentSquare.

The purpose of the MIR system is not to punish, but to gather data that helps us provide the right support. If we notice a pattern of behavior, this information allows us to put interventions in place to help students in the areas they need it most.

If you have any questions about the MIR system, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Together, we can help all of our students grow and succeed.
