In an effort to learn and grow as a community, HES would like your feedback! Please share with us questions, concerns, thoughts/ideas and celebrations! It is our goal to work together to provide the best opportunities for kids! Together we can make HES awesome! Thank you for your support!

Hendricks Families,

It was an action packed week at Hendricks! Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for Donuts with Grown-Ups! We also had a great turn out for All Pro Dads! Thank you for your participation in this amazing program. I hope everyone is looking forward to a restful and joyous Thanksgiving break!

Yearbooks are now on sale! Please visit inter-state.com/order and enter code: 82187N. Yearbooks are $23.00 for a softcover and $27.00 for a hardcover. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you to those who have signed up for Christmas assistance. At this time, we are going to close our form since we are over capacity. We will be reaching out to families who completed the form to let you know if we have a sponsor for you or not. This will be based on the date of the application. Unfortunately, we currently have more families in need than sponsors. If we are unable to match a family with a sponsor this year, we would encourage the parent/guardian to reach out to other organizations in the community including the Salvation Army and local churches.

I hope everyone has a safe and restful Thanksgiving Break! Just a reminder that we DO NOT have school on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday next week! We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, November 27, 2023! There will be no newsletter next week.

Have a great weekend and a happy Thanksgiving!

Mrs. Tilley

Principal

In an effort to eliminate the wait time after school Hendricks will be reorganizing dismissal at the end of each day. Students going to the Boys/Girls Club after school, will be dismissed to buses at 2:18. They will be transported to the Club and the buses will return to HES. Once all of the buses arrive back at HES, the remaining students will load to go home. This will delay dismissal 5-10 minutes each day. This process will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions! Thanks for understanding!

Please be sure to check Infofinder at http://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=SCS5QTZ7SAUC for your bus number and bus stop information.

We are asking that any requests for a transportation change be submitted to the office no later than 1:30 pm daily. A reminder that requests must be consistent throughout the week, meaning that the pick up and/or drop off address remains the same all week.

November 20: PTO Pie Pick-Up

November 22-24: Thanksgiving Break
