Jefferson Journal
September 4th, 2026
Jefferson Families,
It was a great first week for our Kindersprouts and kindergarten students! The energy was positive, and we saw many great strides as they began settling into their classrooms and becoming part of the Jefferson school community.
We also tried a fun activity this week by hiding 1,000 mini ducks throughout the school and around the grounds. Students worked tirelessly to find them all, and we celebrated a successful five-day week this afternoon with popsicles, bubbles, and music as a whole school!
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, September 7. Enjoy the long weekend, and we will see everyone back at Jefferson on Tuesday!

Jefferson Expectations
This week, a few of our 5th grade students performed skits to teach and review what it looks like to be safe, respectful, and responsible in different areas of our school. Audience engagement definitely increased! It was a fun and meaningful way for our younger students to learn, and a great opportunity for our 5th graders to step into leadership roles.
