We are asking that all outstanding lunch balances be paid promptly to support our programs' finances. Funding lunch accounts can be paid through e~Funds:

Here are a few helpful hints to get started:

  • You will need your child's lunch/student ID number to make a payment.

  • Click here for the e~Funds payment site

You can still make payments at the main office during registration days, or at any lunch room cashier but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your fees in advance.

  • Click HERE for information on how to set up an e~Funds account

  • Click HERE for the e~Funds payment website

  • How to Check your Student lunch account transactions

You can still make payments directly to a Food Service Cashier at any school cafeteria with cash or check, but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your lunch activity in advance. I would like to encourage parents and caregivers to have conversations with your student/s regarding you and your families lunch and a la carte participation. As a school requirement we can not deny a student taking a hot lunch, note that any hot lunch taken by your student/s will be charged to their account.

School Lunch Hero Day May 1,2026

School Lunch Hero Day. When we call school nutrition professionals heroes, we truly mean it. Each spring, we celebrate their dedication, care, and hard work with School Lunch Hero Day. Across the country, these everyday heroes arrive early, serve with care and ensure students have access to nutritious meals that fuel learning and growth.

Why it matters: School Lunch Hero Day is more than a celebration; it’s a moment to recognize the dedication, heart and hard work that school nutrition teams bring to their communities. It’s also a chance for schools to highlight the important role these professionals play in supporting student success.

Join schools across the country in recognizing the vital role these team members play every day—nourishing students, supporting learning, and making a difference for every child who walks through the cafeteria doors.

🌱 Future-Ready Greens: Tower Gardens in Our Schools!

We are thrilled to highlight a "growing" success in our cafeterias: the Tower Gardens now flourishing in every school! These vertical aeroponic systems are doing more than just looking cool—they are providing fresh, nutrient-dense leafy greens for our salad bars every single day.

As an IB World School district, we are using these gardens to cultivate more than just spinach and kale; we are cultivating the IB Learner Profile in every student:

  • Inquirers: Our students are natural inquirers, and the Tower Gardens provide a living laboratory to ask the big questions: Where does my food actually come from? How can plants grow without soil? By seeing the seed-to-harvest cycle in their own hallways, students connect deeply with the origins of their nutrition.

  • Balanced: We are committed to helping students lead balanced lives. By providing hyper-fresh greens grown just steps away from the lunch line, we make the healthy choice the easy (and most delicious) choice. These greens are harvested at peak ripeness, ensuring maximum vitamins for growing minds and bodies.

  • Principled: Our commitment to principled, sustainable sourcing is literally "growing" upward! Tower Gardens use up to 98% less water and 90% less space than traditional farming. By growing our own salad components on-site, we reduce our carbon footprint and act as responsible stewards of our local Colorado environment.

Next time you’re in the cafeteria, take a look at the vibrant greens on the salad bar—that’s the taste of innovation, sustainability, and student inquiry at work!
