King's Highway Families,

PTO Meeting TONIGHT! Join us at 6:00 in the cafeteria or on ZOOM (Link HERE) for this month's PTO meeting. We look forward to planning/discussing the spring season.

PSSA testing is just around the corner. Grades 3, 4, and 5 will take the PSSAs in Math and ELA. This year, the 5th grade will also participate in the Science portion. We will begin the assessment after we return from spring break (April 16 - 21).

BINGO on FRIDAY. We are very excited for the annual BING event. Thank you to all the families that have donated items to support classroom baskets. Links are provided below for anyone who remains interested in donating. See you on Friday night!

A HUGE thank you to King's Highway student Max S. and Northeast Pro Wash (owned by Max's family). For their hard work and donated services washing the playground equipment. The playground has never looked so good! Northeast Pro Wash is a local pressure washing company and a member of the King's Highway family. They came by last Wednesday to give our play area a little refresh.

The King's Highway PBIS Team is looking for your feedback. What is PBIS? Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports is a program that we run to support students in doing the right thing. Has your student talked about earning pride paws? That's PBIS! This short (four-question) survey will help us monitor how your program is doing and give us vital feedback on the student/family side of things.

King's Highway will host its annual Bingo. The PTO needs YOUR help to make our BINGO baskets amazing. Each grade has chosen a specific theme around which to build its baskets. What is a Bingo basket? First Tee Greater Philadelphia will be hosting junior golf clinics at Ingleside Golf Club which are designed to help young golfers develop their life skills and golf skills.

• Only $20 for an Annual Membership (Financial aid available to ensure all juniors have the opportunity to attend)

• Unlimited Access to Clinics Your junior golfer can participate in multiple clinics throughout the year, helping them improve their game in a supportive environment.

We offer golf clubs for your junior golfer to use during all clinics, if they don't have any.

Good News Club has ended. Students will resume standard dismissal procedures for Tuesdays.

Any absence not accompanied by a note will be coded as an illegal absence. Families are encouraged to email notes to the main office at KHoffice@casdschools.org. Notes may also be sent in with students. Notes for absences are due within three days of the absence. More information regarding attendance procedures is available in the CASD Student Code of Conduct.
