I hope you all enjoyed your spring break! It was wonderful to fill the building with smiles and connectedness again after a week away.

This coming week our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will all be taking the first round of state testing. Please know we want you to do your best to prepare your child with a good night's rest, a good breakfast and timely arrival to school. Other than that, we know they are well prepped and don't need to stress!

Family Fun Night is on the horizon on Wednesday the 16th. Be sure to be intentional about taking the time to spend it as a family! We also have no school on that Friday, April 18th.

Time is flying by as the school year heads into the last two months. So much has been accomplished in the building and yet there is so much more to come! Thank you for your continued support and efforts to make this year a memorable one for the kids!

MES Spring Picture Day is April 8th. Only students who sign up online (must complete by noon on April 7th), students who bring in the picture order form with payment or new students to MES since November 2024 will have their picture taken. We have had a few cases of lice reported to us in the building the past few weeks. This has not been frequent enough for us to send out a health alert message to you all, but I am making mention of it so we can all do our part to prevent it from spreading.

Please know that it is helpful for us to have the information if you discover your child does have lice. Your child will not be excluded from school for lice. It is also helpful to talk with the other people that your child spends time with and let them know as well. Don't be ashamed of this and instead share it so others can also be on the look out to help prevent the spread.

There is great info online to help guide you in what to look for and how to treat. Thank you for doing your part to help. As Nurse Amy says "Lice give us a good excuse to pay more attention to our kids."

The Madeira EZPay online payment system allows Madeira parents to pay school fee payments in full, pay to participate payments per season per sport, tuition program monthly payments, and PSAT payments. Fee payments, pay to participate payments and PSAT must be paid in full. Tuition program payments can be paid monthly or several months at one time.

With this program you will be able to process payments online using any VISA and MasterCard. No more sending in checks or cash, which can get lost. There is a $2.50 transaction fee.

Payments will be applied to your child's account within 48 hours (school work days) through the easy online checkout process.
