Estimadas familias de James John,

¡Qué hermoso día! Gracias a todos por asistir a nuestras Asambleas de Estudiante del Mes. Fue fantástico ver a tantos estudiantes disfrazados para el "Día de fantasía".

Un agradecimiento a nuestro Consejo Escolar por las preguntas formuladas durante nuestra reunión y por permitirme compartir mis ideas para el futuro. Un gran agradecimiento al Entrenador Coleman, a la Sra. Fletcher y al equipo por organizar y preparar a nuestros estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado para nuestro evento Adopta una bicicleta que tendremos en marzo.

La próxima semana, un equipo de educadores de James John y yo saldremos del edificio el lunes para visitar el Distrito Escolar Evergreen. Haremos un recorrido por cómo se ve, suena y se siente un modelo de escuela de vecindario. Tengo muchas preguntas listas para mi visita. Los mantendré a todos informados.

Nuestra Hora de Café será el próximo miércoles (8:15 am). El jueves tendremos nuestro Buddy Classroom Day en toda la escuela, ¡qué emocionante!

Ha sido una semana ocupada y estoy muy agradecida de trabajar con nuestro personal y familias en la escuela primaria James John. ¡Ten un fantástico fin de semana!

Dear James John Families,

What a beautiful day! Thank you to all families who attended our Student of the Month Assemblies today. It was great to see so many students dressed up for “Fancy Day.”

A thank you to our School Site Council for the questions asked during our meeting and allowing me to share my ideas for the future. A big thank you to Coach Coleman, Ms. Fletcher and team for organizing and getting our 3rd - 5th grade students ready for our Adopt-a-Bike Event which we will have in March.

Next week a team of James John educators and I will be out of the building Monday visiting the Evergreen School District. We will be taking a tour and learning about what a Neighborhood School Model looks, sounds and feels like - I have so many questions ready for my visit. I will keep you all posted.

Our Hora de Café will be next Wednesday (8:15 am). Thursday we will be having our schoolwide Buddy Classroom Day, so exciting!

It’s been a busy week and I am so grateful working with our staff and families at James John Elementary. Have a fantastic weekend!
