What a difference a week makes! Who knew we would be getting snow today! Hopefully the warm weather returns soon!

BIG thank you to the PTO volunteers who helped out at the Book Fair. Their help is invaluable! Thanks so much Katie Haas, Krista Green, Emma Miano, Tiffany Craig, Ian Craig, and Brittney Zimny.

Our Chocolate Bar fundraiser is going strong! If your student would like to sell chocolate bars, please return the permission slip and we will send a box of chocolate bars home! Thank you for your support of Hendricks!

The Winter Carnival is coming soon! This is a great night for families! Get your pre-sale bracelets now! Thank you to the PTO for all they do to make Hendricks a great place for staff and students!

IREAD testing will be starting soon! This is a state reading assessment that all second and third graders take each year! Testing will begin March 4 and continue until Spring Break! It is very important that students are at school to complete this assessment!

Yearbooks are now on sale! Please visit inter-state.com/order and enter code: 82187N. Yearbooks are $23.00 for a softcover and $27.00 for a hardcover. Please let us know if you have any questions!

In an effort to eliminate the wait time after school Hendricks will be reorganizing dismissal at the end of each day. Students going to the Boys/Girls Club after school, will be dismissed to buses at 2:18. They will be transported to the Club and the buses will return to HES. Once all of the buses arrive back at HES, the remaining students will load to go home. This will delay dismissal 5-10 minutes each day. This process will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions! Thanks for understanding!

We are asking that any requests for a transportation change be submitted to the office no later than 1:30 pm daily. A reminder that requests must be consistent throughout the week, meaning that the pick up and/or drop off address remains the same all week.
