MRMS Families,
This week, we had multiple opportunities to listen to the voice of our students as it relates to their experience in school. Thank you to all the students who provided feedback to Ms. Macguire, Director of Student Services at Monomoy. Ms. Macguire hosted students in a panel to understand their perspective on peer relations and bullying in our schools. This important perspective will be used as Monomoy revises its policy to reflect the current needs of our school environment. Additionally, students at all grade levels participated in our spring town hall on 5/20. This is a MRMS tradition of bringing students together with teachers and staff to speak about the culture and climate of the school. Thank you to our student body for the accountability shown during these meetings and especially to those who were able to offer their own perspective as we consistently strive to support students in meeting the behavioral and academic expectations in our building. Thank you to our families for your support as well!
In Partnership,

Math MCAS
Students in all grades will participate in Math MCAS this Tuesday and Wednesday. With ELA and STE behind us, we want to wish the best of luck to all the students as they finish up the final round of state testing!
Bus Ridership @ Monomoy (for 5/20)
In order to create appropriate bus routes and stops, families are asked to complete the online Aspen transportation form. Click here to log into your family Aspen account, and select 'Start a new Bus Verification.' Please note that you must complete the form for each student.
There are no distancing or masking requirements in place, and we encourage families to use the bus to transport their students for the 2022-2023 school year.
MRMS Cares For the Troops!
In honor of Memorial Day, CSL classes are working with the organization Cape Cod Cares for the Troops to collect donations that will be made into care packages for deployed troops! Please consider donating travel sized toiletries, packaged food items like granola bars or candy, and personal items such as T-shirts, socks or boot laces. Keep an eye out for flyers coming home next week with a full list of suggested items. Donations can be left in the marked bins located under the table in front of the Main Office until Friday May 27th. Thank you!
