Our girls soccer team has had a successful start to the season, earning their first win and showing incredible teamwork, determination, and growth on the field. Our cross country team has also demonstrated impressive perseverance and school spirit, pushing themselves and supporting one another with every mile. We are so proud of our student-athletes for representing our school with courage, commitment, and sportsmanship!

Monday the 14th is School Picture Day AND Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A from 5-8pm.

Please drop your donation off at the office with the name of your child' s teacher on the bag. The classes with the most donations get to pick the dunk tank participants! Our junior high students are gearing up for a Yard Sale on October 3rd! All proceeds will go to supporting their 6th and 9th grade weeklong trips in the spring! Please drop donations off at the front office and plan to attend on October 3rd

Join Our Health & Sex Education Committee

We are looking for parents and community members to serve on our Health & Sex Education Committee.

This committee provides an important opportunity for families and educators to work together to review instructional materials and ensure our health and sex education instruction is age-appropriate, medically accurate, aligned with Utah requirements, and reflective of our school community’s values.

Committee members will review proposed curriculum and materials, provide feedback, and help ensure families have clear information about what is being taught.

If you are interested in serving on the committee, please contact the Ms. Kacee by October 15th at kweaver@mmautah.org. We appreciate our families lending their voices, perspectives, and expertise to this important work.

Next week Junior high students will attend the annual Fall Exploration Camp at North Fork Park in Ogden Valley. The goal of this camp is to strengthen our adolescent community through shared experiences, outdoor learning, teamwork, and meaningful challenges. Students will have opportunities to build independence, practice leadership, develop resilience, deepen friendships, and connect with the natural world.

Exploration is an important part of the Montessori adolescent experience. Stepping outside the classroom gives students opportunities to discover not only more about the world around them, but also more about themselves and their place within a community.
