Safe Bus Riding
Keeping our students safe on the school bus is a shared responsibility, and we appreciate your continued support in reinforcing good bus-riding habits. Below are a few important reminders to help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone:
- Arrive early at the bus stop and wait in a safe spot away from traffic.
- Walk, don’t run, to the bus and stay clear of the curb until the bus comes to a complete stop.
- Follow the driver’s directions at all times. Bus drivers are responsible for everyone’s safety.
- Use inside voices and stay seated, facing forward, with feet out of the aisle while the bus is moving.
- Keep hands, arms, and objects inside the bus at all times.
- Treat others with respect and show your PRIDE. Kind behavior helps keep distractions to a minimum and ensures a calm, safe ride.
Talking through these expectations at home helps our students arrive safely and ready to learn each day. Thank you for partnering with us to keep bus rides safe for all students and staff.
PTO Weekly Update April 6
Next meeting: April 9th
While the school year is winding down, the PTO is still busy planning several upcoming activities for our students, including Field Day, Field Day shirts, the yearbook, school store, Book Fair, and Teacher Appreciation Week. We can always use extra help, and volunteer opportunities vary in time commitment — we’re happy to work with your schedule. Every one of these programs is organized by a small but dedicated group of parent volunteers, and your support truly makes a difference.
Finally, we hope you’ll join us at our next PTO meeting to hear more about what’s ahead for the rest of the year. The meeting will be held on April 9 at 6:00 PM in the library or via Zoom.
Thank you for continuing to support our school community!
