Good afternoon Families!

I hope you’re all ready for a big weekend of Halloween-ing and time change! Students were so excited today to show off some really fun and spooky costumes. I hope everyone has a safe and fun trick-or-treating experience.

We will be hosting a food drive for the month of November as we have done in years past. Please send in non-perishable items with your child through November 18th and then we will deliver those items to the Johnson Food Shelf before Thanksgiving break. If you or someone you know in our community is in need of food items and would not be able to travel to a Johnson, please let us know and we would be happy to deliver some items to folks locally.

Our picture re-take day is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th. Also, we will be hosting a Harvest Lunch on November 19th at 11:00. If you would like to join us, please RSVP to the school so we can make sure to have enough food for all.

A big thank you to WESPO for hosting Trunk-or Treat last Friday. A great time was had by all! Also, if you participated in the Cookie Love fundraiser, those items should be in by the end of next week or shortly thereafter.

Also, just a reminder of the importance of ensuring that your children are here on time every morning. There is a lot of work and social connection that happens early in our day. It is hard for students to jump in when activities have already begun in the classroom and can often set them up for an uncertain start to the day. Thank you!
