NTMS Letters for Lumberjacks

A Note from Mrs. Miranto and Dr. Pray
Here at the middle school, students are 1:1 with iPads. They use their iPad for almost every class as this is how they access lesson materials, complete classwork and submit homework. We have noticed that many of our students are not coming to school with their iPad charged. A charged iPad is an integral part of being prepared for class. We will gladly charge it for them, every team has a charging cart where students can leave their iPad, they just need to bring it to the room at the end of the day (we make an announcement daily at 2:28). If your child chooses to bring it home, please ensure they are charging it over night.
As a reminder, homeroom starts at 7:30 am. Students are expected to be in their classroom by 7:30 when the bell rings. Arriving to class after the start of homeroom is a tardy. Arriving to school even a few minutes late can throw off the routine for the student and classrooms who are moving on to academics right after morning announcements. You can help out by ensuring your child is to school by 7:20 each morning.
As we head off into a long weekend, we wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving. December brings a lot of evening events, including our musical and winter concerts and we can't wait!
