Message from Dr. Rivera

Fall is finally here, and there is lot of fun and learning at Smith Elementary! We had so many parents increasing their learning at our Academic Parent-Teacher Team meetings, so a huge thanks to all who were there! I hope you learned more information about your child's progress and learned skills to help at home.

Another thank you goes to all who attended or volunteered at our first PTO event, the Mother-Son Game Night. I hope to see even more of you at the Fall Festival on Saturday from 4-7pm! We still need volunteers, so please see below to help.

Here are a few other announcements:

Please make sure your kids keep all toys, including squishies at home.
Halloween is not one of our approved party days, so please do not send treat bags to school.
Water bottles must be able to completely close - if they turn over and spill, please keep those at home.
Because of alleriges and other restrctions, please order birthday treats from the cafeteria at least two weeks in advance: English Order Form Spanish Order Form

SMART Tag Information

There is a delay on the start of the SMART Tag app. The district will send out information when the app is available. If your child loses their Smart Tag ID card, you can purchase a replacement card through this link. You will need a My School Bucks account to pay for the replacement card.

Smith also shares the time each bus leaves campus every afternoon. Click here for the SES Bus Dimissal Times.

PTO News

Our PTO is currently hard at work preparing for Saturday's Fall Festival. It's going to be a blast, but we still need many volunteers to make it happen. Please click here to volunteer. Even if you can just give an hour, that will make a big difference!
