Superintendent Message

PJSD Families-

Happy October, everyone! Homecoming, fall colors, and a Brewers World Series:) Not to mention concerts, fall sport tournament season, and Halloween festivities. October provides a good deal of fun for all.

Our thanks to everyone who participated in one or more of our homecoming activities. Our homecoming is truly a community event, and we're thrilled with the high level of participation. Thank you for helping us make memories that will stay with our students well into adulthood.

If you will recall, the district hired MDRoffers to do an enrollment study on behalf of the district. The study analyzed past trends and forecasted our enrollment fifteen years into the future based upon variables such as housing, birth rates, community demographics, and open enrollment. We look forward to continuing this conversation with the School Board at its November 9th board meeting, and will reengage the community in this conversation afterward.

You will notice many job openings in our "PJSD Employment Opportunities" section below. Please skim through the openings, as we could use everyone's help recruiting great people to work for the district. We need substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, and food servers... just to name a few. Please give us a call with any interest - and encourage others to do the same.

Be well, and GO PANTHERS!

Scott Stier
