October Character Strength
Integrity is our character strength for the month of October. We have been spending both classroom time and lunchtime talking about our character strengths. Integrity aligns with being honest and accountable. We will encourage our students to demonstrate integrity in all that they do. By the end of the month, our students will not only have practiced learning how to spell integrity, but they will also have a great understanding of its meaning. Together, we will encourage our youngest learners to Go Be Great!
October 2026
Families,
Fall is here, and our classrooms are buzzing with learning and excitement! October is shaping up to be a busy and wonderful month at Memorial.
We kicked off the month with our Butterfly Celebration, a beautiful day that brought our schools and community together through environmental education, collaboration, and celebration. A heartfelt thank you to our first-grade families for joining us and to our dedicated first-grade teachers and Mr. Chapman for their hard work in making this special event possible.
This meaningful learning experience, filled with fun, discovery, and celebration, created lasting memories for our students and reminded us of the wonderful things we can accomplish when our school community comes together!
Check PSD Facebook and Instagram for some great pictures.
School security is a priority. We are happy to give families opportunities to visit while also limiting security concerns. When picking up your student early, please remain outside the building, and your child will be brought to you.
