Principal Corner
Happy Holidays, Chapelfield Families!
We ended the first half of the year with students listening to holiday music from an accordion player on the playground while the teachers had a delicious lunch from Mi Tradicion. Thank you to our PTO, Bob Caldwell Automotive, and Central Office Staff for allowing us this time to have a special lunch and duty free afternoon! Our students were seen singing and dancing on the playground. Kristen Muenster, Amanda Nguyen, and Taylor Winslow were our PTO volunteers at recess. We appreciate you!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday season and enjoys the time off with family. We are so lucky to be part of a strong, thoughtful community! We love serving your families. We will see you on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Sincerely,
Nikki Miller

Outside Recess
As you all know, the weather in Ohio is constantly changing. Some days are warmer than others while other days are just plain cold! Please make sure to check the forecast so that your child is prepared as we will be going outside for recess as long as the temperatures are above 20 degrees.
GJPS Inclement Weather Procedures
As the weather turns colder, it is important for families to know the procedures for closing or delaying school. Closing and delay information will be communicated in the following ways:
