Winter Weather
Dressing for Cold
Please have students dressed appropriately for the weather, especially if walking to school. Students can store any extra layers in their lockers. Wasmer follows GIPS guidelines for outdoor recess--we stay indoors if the windchill is below 20 degrees or if precipitation is on the ground.
If you do not get a phone call, text message, or email from Grand Island Public Schools, school WILL be in session. When in doubt, you can also look at the Grand Island Public School's Facebook page.
