Together, we will continue building a school community where students feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to be their best.
Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. We look forward to a year filled with growth, achievement, and Greatness at Yeager.

Math Instruction & Problem Solving
Students will engage in lessons focused on mathematical reasoning, problem-solving strategies, and grade-level standards. -
Instructional Technology Support
Students will continue working in i-Ready and other digital platforms to support personalized learning and track growth. -
Teacher Collaboration & Planning
Teachers will meet in PLCs to analyze data, plan instruction, and align strategies to best support student success.
Why Attendance Matters
Daily attendance plays a critical role in student success. Every instructional minute counts, and being present each day helps students stay connected to learning, build strong relationships with teachers, and keep pace with classroom instruction.
At Yeager Middle School, the school day begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:10 p.m. Arriving on time ensures students are prepared for learning and do not miss important lessons, directions, or assessments that set the tone for the day.
When students are absent or arrive late, it can disrupt their learning and make it more difficult to keep up academically. Consistent attendance also supports positive habits such as responsibility, time management, and accountability—skills students will carry beyond middle school.
We appreciate your partnership in making attendance a priority. Please help ensure your child arrives on time each day and attends school regularly unless illness or emergencies occur. Together, we can support strong academic growth and student success.
Yeager Middle School BETA Club Brightens the Holidays for Local Families
DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Students at Yeager Middle School (YMS) have exemplified the spirit of service this holiday season, leading two highly successful donation drives to benefit local families through a partnership with the S.H.A.R.E. House of Douglasville.
The S.H.A.R.E. House is a vital family violence crisis center located right here in our community, offering safety, shelter, and support to families in need. The YMS BETA Club chose this organization as the recipient of its first annual Canned Food Drive and Holiday Toy Drive.
Following the food drive, the BETA Club launched a second effort to collect new, unwrapped toys for children aged 1 through 13 currently staying at the S.H.A.R.E. House. The collected toys will ensure that these young individuals, who have faced unimaginable challenges, can experience the joy of the holiday season.
The combined success of both drives is a testament to the dedication of the YMS BETA Club members, who embody the club's motto, "Let Us Lead by Serving Others."
The donations from both drives were delivered to the S.H.A.R.E. House on Friday, December 19th, making a direct and immediate positive impact on families in Douglasville.
