Academy Announcements
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
I hope this finds you well! Another great week at Academy. We had our monthly ROAR awards, recognized a few members of the Staff with the Shining Star Award, and had an incredible night at the Academy Lip Sync...all while wrapping us Math MCAS this past week. Here are a few more notables in store at Academy:
- Lip Sync was a blast-we had over 30 amazing acts. Special thank you to Sharon Ennis and Alicia Lyons, the AAPC, and the Staff Mystery Judges for an incredible night of music and fun.
- Better weather ahead-Please remember students will be going outside for recess and other activities. Sun protection is key! Hats, sneakers, sun block are always good ideas as we move through May and June.
- Field Trips: 4th Grade had a great day at the Franklin Park Zoo and 5th Grade will be visiting the Abigail Adams house this upcoming Friday.
- Please remember that in order to volunteer, you need a current CORI check on file. This includes helping with field day on June 6 and other end of the year events.
- MCAS Update: All grades have completed the Math MCAS and Grade 5 has Science Monday and Tuesday this week.
- The ABC calendar is underway-tomorrow is D Day!
- Planning ahead for SY26, please take a few moments to complete the parent survey regarding class placement; we welcome you input!
Thank you for all your support!
Mr. Higgins
