Burgettstown MS/HS Holds Commencement

Wednesday, June 2 was a day the members of the Class of 2021 looked forward to for some time. The Commencement Exercises were held at 7:00 PM at Hill Memorial Stadium. The stands were packed with family, friends and community members as the decreased Covid-19 restrictions permitted more people to attend. Though it rained on and off most of the day, it held off long enough for the ceremony to occur. Graduates smiled, parents, guardians and other family members beamed with pride, and the many of the faculty and staff of the school district looked on as Burgettstown's newest Alumni received their diplomas. Congratulations to the Class of 2021. We are proud of you!

Decisions, Decisions

There were many flavors available for the Kono Ice at 8th grade field day. It looks like this 8th grader chose strawberry. Yum!

Snow Cones are Good Food!

What second grader doesn't like a snow cone? This Blue Devil 2nd grader certainly does!

Summer Meal Program

The Food Service Department would like to inform you that the meal service program will continue through the summer with one minor change: There will only be one pick up location, at the high school, EVERY WEDNESDAY from 4 PM - 6 PM. You will have to continue to complete the form every week the same as you did throughout the school year to request meal service. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mr. Paul Kerr, Food Service Director.

Who Doesn't Love a Parade?!?

The fifth grade students were given quite the send off this week. As they rode through the parking lot, the rest of the elementary students, as well as the faculty and staff, cheered them on. It was a nice send off as they prepare to go to the MSHS next year.

More Tug of War

Not to be outdone by the 7th graders last week, members of the 8th grade class held their own tug of war battles at their field day this week.

Pennsylvania Intermediate Units Coordinate Broadband Survey

In an effort to identify the level of Internet access and connectivity that residents have within our school district community, we are asking that you complete a short survey. All school districts in Pennsylvania have been asked to have their residents/families complete this survey. The data collected will greatly assist our school district, and school districts across the Commonwealth, with obtaining local, state, and federal broadband funding to provide additional resources to our student and families. Thank you, in advance, for taking this survey. Please see the flyer below. There is a QR code on the flyer and a electronic link which can also be found by clicking HERE
