Principal Message
The second last week for students is now in the book. This week saw our grade 6s finish their PATs. Classes working on review and lots of activities. Tuesday, we had chicken fingers and fries for hot lunch.
Friday, we welcomed Evansview School as we recognized National Indigenous Peoples Day. Student's were led through building a traditional Indigenous stick and pin game. They also got to learn about the significance of a smudge. Following a hamburger lunch students participated in a number of traditional games. We would like to thank to Wendy Poseluzny from Native Wild, Daphnie Hayles of Evansview, and Mark Ehnes of Wildwood School for leading this important event.
Our Final Week is packed with classroom and school wide activities
Monday classes will be in their regular classroom
Tuesday we have our school wide field trip to Festival Park in White Court
Wednesday is our Pancake Breakfast and Field Day
Thursday we have our Bike Rodeo in the PM and students have a hotdog lunch
Friday we have our Awards Ceremony and BBQ, see above poster.

This deadline also applies to returning students who require bus transportation for the 2026-27 school year. A snapcode is not required to complete the School Bus Registration.
Community Contribution
As you all know this will be the last year of Wildwood School. As part of that I have been sharing bits of our schools history. If you have bits of history or artifacts that you would like to share please email or call Mr. Stoyles so we can share parts of the school's past as we get ready for a new future in September.
As always feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.
Sincerely,
Alan Stoyles
