Academic Showcase/Culture Night - Thursday, March 5 from 4:30-5:30 pm

Teacher Inservice Day - Friday, March13 - No School

Early-Release Day on Wednesday

We have an Early-Release Day this Wednesday, February 11. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Teacher's will spend the afternoon in professional development activities.

Book Vending Machine Winners!

Unfortunately, we did not meet our 95% attendance goal this week. We just missed it! Please help us try to meet our goal next week by making daily attendance a priority! At Vine we Shine by attending and making sure every day of learning matters!

Weekly Attendance:

PreK - 95.56%

Kindergarten - 93.85%

First Grade - 91.91%

Second Grade - 95.50%

Third Grade - 96.67%

School Wide - 94.58%

Congratulations to PreK, Second & Third Grades for meeting our 95% Attendance Goal!! 🎉

PTO met on Wednesday night. Discussions were had about upcoming fundraisers and how those funds were going to be spent. The Moe's BBQ fundraiser in December raised $428 and the Miguel's fundraiser in January raised $230. PTO members continued their discussion around a playground project. A couple of new members attended and were able to give their thoughts and ideas around it. If you would like to share your ideas with the group the next meeting will be Wednesday, March 4 at 6:00 pm!

We currently have a volunteer that runs this for us. She was previously a parent at Vine Street. She uses the money earned to purchase snacks and supplies as needed for Vine Street students. If you would like to help with this initative, please reach out to me and I will get you in touch with her!
