Voice Amplification Roll Out
Information & Resources
Rollout Information
Crews will begin installing the Audio Enhancement Voice Amplification systems at school sites this week for all rostered classroom teachers. Installation will be outside of school hours so they don't disrupt instruction.
The crew will pair the teacher microphone and student microphone to your speaker, then re-package everything and leave it at the base of your Promethean Board. You can then move your speaker anywhere in the room that works for you.
What is a Voice Amplification system?
The Voice Amplification system includes a teacher microphone on a lanyard that can hang around your neck and a student microphone that can be passed around the classroom. In grades TK-1, the student microphone will be a ball mic that can be easily used with young students.
Benefits of using Voice Amplification
- Improved Clarity: Amplification enhances vocal clarity, making it easier for students to understand the teacher, especially in noisy classrooms.
- Increased Reach: The system ensures that all students, regardless of their seating location, can hear the teacher clearly.
- Teacher Voice Conservation: Teachers can speak at a normal volume, reducing vocal strain and fatigue.
- Accessibility: Voice amplification systems can be particularly beneficial for students with hearing impairments or learning difficulties.
Audio Enhancement Training Videos
Your microphones will already be paired, so you should not have to pair them to your speaker.
