The Husky Herald

A huge shout out to our 5th grade students who performed at the Thurston Strings Extravaganza! With six elementary schools participating, our 14 students represented our school with confidence and talent after practicing all year long. They performed amazingly and made us incredibly proud. A special thank you to Ms. Miller for her dedication, support, and hard work in helping our students shine!

We are seeking your input on how Mt. Vernon is doing and would greatly appreciate your feedback. We are asking families to complete a short survey that will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

Your responses help provide our school with valuable feedback about what we are doing well and areas where we can continue to grow and improve. Family input is incredibly important as we work to provide the best possible experience for our students and community.

You can access the survey here. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and support Mt. Vernon!

We are excited for our upcoming School Carnival on Friday, May 29 from 6:00–7:30 PM! This will be a fun-filled evening for our school community with free games, activities, and food for all families to enjoy.

We will be providing free corn dogs, popcorn, soda, and lemonade. Kona Ice and Cotton Candy will also be available for purchase during the event.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help make the carnival a success! If you are interested in helping, please sign up here.
