DKHS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
"Do A Job"
APRIL 2, 2026
I have a short post today for a short week. I hope you all have an amazing spring break. Whether you are traveling or like the Hogobooms, enjoying a Staycation, I hope you get exactly what you need from some time away. Fun and relaxation with family and friends, and some cuddle time with our 4-month-old grandson, are high on our list. When we come back, it will feel like a sprint to the finish line. Our seniors will have just 25 school days left in their careers when we return. Seniors, be sure you are on top of your grades and have all the things you need to meet the graduation requirements. Pay attention to important dates for your senior year activities. There are some mandatory events for you.
When we come back, we will be stepping right into the state testing window. We need kids in attendance on these days and are encouraging all test takers to give their absolute best. SAT and PSAT scores in particular can open up opportunities for early middle college, dual enrollment, work-based learning, college and work applications, and scholarship dollars in the coming years. The test dates are April 14th, 16th, and 21. DO A JOB and give it your best!!

He has a deep appreciation for art and enjoys exploring paintings and photographs, as well as learning more about technology and developing computer skills.
