All classes meet during final exam days except pre-approved courses, wellness, lunch, VAMP, advisory, and study halls. Students that are up to 10 minutes late will be counted as tardy; students arriving more than 10 minutes late, will meet with administration to determine if the student can take their final exam as scheduled or if the final should be made up in test make-up.

Tutoring & Extended Library Hours

The library will have extended hours (3:00pm-8:00pm) during THIS WEEK (December 9-December 12). To access the tutoring schedule, please click this link. Tutoring is located inside the media center in the tutoring center and students do NOT need to sign up in order to meet with any of the teachers listed.

Student absences during final exams:

All absences during final exams must be coordinated with the student's administrator to determine the next steps. Students have the ability to take exams during winter break. Students who do not take their final exam(s) will need to take them BEFORE they can begin semester 2 classes.

• Can I change my final exam schedule or move a test?
• The deadline to move a final has passed.
• What classes do not take finals?
• Wellness classes, certain lab or specific independent study courses
• You do not need to check in to wellness, study hall or lunch
• If I don't have a class during the last final exam period of the day may I leave school before the 12:20 dismissal?
• Yes. For those taking the bus, the bus schedule is outlined in the image below.
• May I drive to school during finals?
• Only cars with valid semester 1 parking passes will be allowed to park in the lot during final exams.
• What if I miss a final due to illness?
• Test make-up will be open during winter break. All exams must be made up prior to the start of second semester.

Student Services is excited to announce our upcoming WELLNESS WEEK happening THIS WEEK (12/9–12/13)! 🎉

As we gear up for finals, it’s important to take care of our minds and bodies. That’s why we’ve planned a week full of fun, relaxing, and energizing activities to help you de-stress and recharge.

🕒 When: Daily activities during lunch periods
🎯 Who: ALL students are invited to join in! Come by the Viking Rug all days but Friday during your lunch period to participate. (Friday's activity will be in Meeting Room 1)

But that’s not all! Wellness Week also features themed dress-up spirit days—a chance to show your Viking pride and have some fun with your friends.

Attached you can find the full schedule of activities and spirit day themes. Let’s finish the semester mighty, brave, and bold together! 💪💚

The Boosters will be raffling off 5 Semester 2 parking passes at halftime of the boy's basketball game on Friday 12/13. Online presale for the raffle is currently available through the Booster Club website until Thursday 8am; raffle tickets will be available for in-person purchase at the basketball game.

Tickets are 5 for $20 (available online) or one arms length for $50 (available at the game only). Winners will be pulled at halftime of the boys game. Winner does NOT NEED to be present to win.

On December 14 over 270 vendors showcasing their handmade crafts, jewelry, food specialties, housewares, accessories and more will be at Fremd for the annual Booster Holiday Craft Fair.

The success of our craft fair is dependent on the many student and parent volunteers. This is a great opportunity for Fremd students to earn Harper Promise or other service hours by helping with Friday setup, or assisting our crafters unload and load their items on Saturday. It’s a fast few hours, and our crafters are so appreciative of the help we provide and attendance at our show. Double service hours are provided for Saturday morning.
