Message from Mr. Imbusch
Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:
Important Notice: Walpole High School Summer Construction Closure
Due to extensive construction, renovation, and paving projects taking place at Walpole High School this summer, the entire campus will be closed to the public from June 29 through August 20.
During this period, there will be no public access to any part of the high school property, including:
- The high school buildings
- Athletic fields and grounds
- The track
- Tennis courts
For safety and security reasons, fencing will be installed along Common Street, and signage will be posted throughout the site.
Please note that the Walpole High School administrative offices will temporarily operate out of Walpole Middle School during the closure. In addition, Summer School programs will be administered at Walpole Middle School.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these important improvements to our facilities and look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus in August.
Sincerely,
Stephen Imbusch
Principal

Class of 2027
Get one thing checked off your senior year "to do" list and get your class dues paid! Señora Bacon (room 1319) will be collecting class dues through Wednesday, June 17th. An email was sent out to both students and parents on Monday, June 8th with information regarding class dues.
From the School Counseling Office
In the past cycle, the topic of sophomore seminar was screentime. Did you know that if you spend 5 hours a day on your phone, you are effectively "donating" 76 full days of your life to your phone each year? To put that in perspective, this year's summer vacation is 75 days. Students and counselors checked their own screentimes, and many of us were in the 5 hour a day range. As we approach summer vacation, a reminder that quality sleep, creativity, face-to-face communication, physical movement, and getting into nature are all excellent ways to spend some of the extra hours.
For a deeper dive into the ways our phones manipulate our attention, check out The Social Dilemma on Netflix. Here is a clip we watched together:
Summer Math
Summer math work was shared with students this week. The work is done in DeltaMath, which students are familiar with. Completion of the work will not only help students be more prepared for their next course, but will also earn 1/2 credit and impact eligibility for honor roll in term 1. All details are included in this letter. Please reach out to Jon Ridolfi, the math department chair, at jridolfi@walpole.k12.ma.us with any questions or concerns.
Seniors & Senior parents/guardians:
SENIORS & Senior parents/guardians:
Thank you for all of your support for the Yearbook, and Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on your recent Graduation! Here are a few end-of-year reminders:
Any Senior who has NOT picked up their Yearbook can still do so at the WHS Main Office until the last day of school on Thurs. 6/18.
Any books NOT picked up by 6/18 will be moved to WALPOLE MIDDLE SCHOOL Main Office for the rest of the summer, and can be picked up there.
The Spring Supplement typically gets delivered to the school in July. DUE TO ONGOING CONSTRUCTION at the High School, the Spring Supplement will be stored at WALPOLE MIDDLE SCHOOL over the summer and should be picked up there by the Senior or family member/friend. I will post to Instagram and send an email to all students and families about when the Spring Supplement is ready for pickup at the Middle School’s Main Office. Please follow the WHS Yearbook Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/walpole_yearbook).
Please reach out to Mrs. Harris with any questions regarding the Yearbook: lharris@walpole.k12.ma.us and have a great Summer!
