How to access PUSD apps on a personal device

Students who are currently in grades 4-11 will keep their PUSD Chromebook over the summer. Students currently in grades K-3 will not have a PUSD Chromebook, but can still access PUSD websites via the method(s) below.

Personal Computer

To access PUSD resources from a personal computer, follow the steps below:

Download the Chrome browser to your device.
Log in to the Chrome browser with your student's PUSD username and password.
When creating your student's profile in the browser, be sure to select "Turn on Sync". This will ensure all PUSD bookmarks load.
Click on PUSD Bookmarks in the Bookmarks Bar and select PUSD Apps to access Clever.

Please see THIS DOCUMENT and THIS VIDEO for more specific information.

iPad

Download the Chrome and Clever apps. The Clever app is compatible with iOS devices (e.g., iPads, iPhones) versions 9.0 or later and is available for download from the device App Store. See this Clever Support Article for additional help with the Clever app for iOS.
Sign in Chrome with your student's PUSD username and password
Sign in to Clever using the Sign in with Google option

Android Devices & Amazon Fire Tablets

Clever does not currently have an app for Android devices. However, users can still use their Android devices to access Clever! Users log in to Clever from Clever.com or their district's custom Clever login page (https://clever.com/in/pasadenausd/) using their internet browser just as they would when using a computer or laptop. Clever recommends using the Google Chrome browser for the best user experience. Users must manually log in to SSO (Saved Passwords) applications when using Android devices.

Amazon Fire tablets provide the same user experience as Android.

For students to access Clever on the Amazon Kids web browser, you must add Clever.com as an allowable domain.

Please note that some sites, such as iReady, may not work on Android tablets.
