Kindergarten Readiness Tip 4

Welcome aboard! Each week you will receive tips to help your child prepare for this amazing journey. We are honored to partner with you and your child as they begin this school adventure at North Penn!

Please Save the Dates for the following exciting opportunities to help with the journey into kindergarten:

• July 23rd @ 9:30 am: Kindergarten Information Session held virtually for ALL families of incoming kindergarten students via Zoom

• August 4th, 6th, 11th & 13th: K Day

• Enjoy a ride on the school bus with your child

• Meet at Walton Farm Elementary (2 sessions each date)

• 8:30 am & 10:00 am

• Kindergarten Orientation:

• Monday, August 31st @ an assigned time

• Families will be given additional information in an invitation from the school

Strong Start to Kindergarten: September 1st - September 9th

Help your child master the art of getting dressed independently, including zippering jackets and buttoning pants. Promoting independence with dressing skills is so important for kids' self esteem and for being able to function independently at school. It helps make your morning routine easier too!
