Car Rider Reminders
As we wrap up our first two days with grades 1-4, there are a few car drop off practices I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of.
At Arrival
1. Please pull up as far as you can before dropping of your students. We have a drop-off zone from the bike racks to Edgewood Dr.
2. Please stay in your vehicles. If your child needs assistance, please pull over to a parking spot and walk them over to the sidewalk.
At Dismissal
1. Please pull all the way up. The line can be stop and go. Sometimes you will see your child and they will want to get into the car, but to keep the line moving, we ask that you keep moving until the last group that loaded is out of the parking lot.
2. Please stay in the line, even if you have your child and the car in front is still loading. It is too dangerous to pull around with so many students around.
3. We ask that your child load the vehicle on the side by the sidewalk.
4. Everyone must remain in their vehicle at pickup.
5. If your child needs assistance getting in and out of the car please pull into one of the parking spaces and walk them over to the sidewalk. This helps to keep the line moving.
Pay Schools Central
Use the link below to complete a Free and Reduced Lunch form. This must be re-submitted EVERY year to qualify for free or reduced lunch. We encourage you to resubmit even if you have had an increase in income or were denied in previous years.
Additionally, you can put money on your child's account using the same link.
How to Communicate your Student's Absence
SafeArrival is an absence management system used by Marysville Exempted Village Schools that improves school communication and safety, making it quick and easy to report student absences 24/7. You can access this through your MyPowerHub account.
Phone Option: To report an absence by phone, please call the Marysville District line at 855-876-7974.
MyPowerHub Option: You can log in to your MyPowerHub account and click on the SafeArrival icon. You can attach medical notes, too. Currently, the PowerSchool app is not working, but you can utilize the website browser version. Once the app is working, you can utilize this as well.
All Pro Dad
All Pro Dad is launching a brand‑new chapter at Edgewood Elementary this school year, giving dads and father‑figures a simple way to invest in their kids before the first bell rings. Each monthly meetup will include a quick, meaningful lesson, fun connection activities, and an easy opportunity to strengthen family bonds. It’s a low‑pressure, high‑impact way for parents to show up, plug in, and help build a stronger school community. Stop by the table at meet the teacher night or email 12jneighoff@gmail.com Edgewood team captain to learn more and get involved.
