Cameron Ranch Falcon Connection

February Edition 2025

Cameron RanchFalcon ConnectionFebruary Edition 2025

Greetings Falcon Community, Greetings Falcon Community,

zoom_out_map

As we embrace the month of February, we are excited to celebrate the many opportunities for growth and learning in our school community. This month brings us special events such as Valentine's Day, where we encourage acts of kindness and friendship among our students. We also want to take this opportunity to honor our school community by recognizing the hard work and dedication of our teachers, staff, and families. Their unwavering support plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for our students. Together, let's make this month a memorable one filled with love, learning, and unity!

Additionally, Black History Month offers a great chance for us to reflect on the contributions of Black Americans throughout history. Katherine Johnson was a brilliant mathematician who worked for NASA. She calculated the paths for rockets and space flights, helping astronauts safely reach the Moon and return home. Johnson's hard work and amazing math skills played a key role in space exploration. Garrett Morgan was an inventor who created the first traffic light with three colors! His invention helped make the roads safer for everyone. He also invented a special gas mask that was used by firefighters and soldiers. By learning about inspiring individuals, we can appreciate the important role that creativity, determination, and hard work play in shaping our world and encouraging each other to dream big!

February brings opportunities for students to discover more about their place in the world by learning how Our Histories are Important. Educating children about one another's histories cultivates cultural awareness and respect, enabling them to appreciate diversity and contribute to the development of stronger, more inclusive communities.. Our monthly equity book series will focus on our unique histories throughout February.

Our next Families First Friday gathering will take place on 3/7/25 at 9:00 in library. Learn about campus events, discover ways to get involved, meet other parents and soar together! We hope to see you there!
