Hello Pyle Families,

Ernie Pyle Summer Academy begins tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11. Students were notified if they were invited to this program during the school year and have signed up through our Think Together Link.

All Students can keep their learning going by signing in at home to STMath and Fast Forward programs in Clever. These programs will continue to be available through the end of this month.

This summer please encourage your students to read every day, write about your adventures, and continue to practice their math facts and skills so that they are ready for the start of the new year on Thursday, August 15. Thank you for a wonderful year! Our panthers have grown and gained so much knowledge. Third-trimester Report Cards are available in parent portal for you to review.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all Ernie Pyle families for your ongoing support given to our staff and programs. Ernie Pyle is a unique campus with a passion for learning. I will treasure the PAWSitive memories and I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you. I have been given the opportunity to join the Bellflower High School administrative team as an assistant principal for the upcoming school year. I know you will have a fantastic 24-25 school year and will do great things. Have a wonderful summer break.

If you have not yet completed the intent to return Google Form for the 2024-2025 school year please complete this to let us know if your student will be returning to Ernie Pyle in the fall. This helps us plan for classes so that we can have a great start to the year. https://tinyurl.com/Intent2Return24-25 You will not need to register your student again, they will automatically be enrolled in the next grade. If you live in another school zone and were sent to Ernie Pyle because your home school was full you will return to that school in the fall.

This summer Barnes & Noble is challenging students to read eight books and record them on the log to submit to them and earn a free book. Please see the flyer for program details.
