Principal's Message:
Happy Weekend, Giesinger Parents and Guardians! 💙
What another wonderful week at Giesinger! Our Eagles are settling into their routines, learning each day, and continuing to make our school such a happy place to be.
This week, one of our fabulous Assistant Principals, Mrs. Jaime Peek, helped lead our campus through our beginning-of-the-year safety drills. Safety is always our #1 priority at Giesinger, and practicing these procedures helps our students and staff know exactly what to do in the event of an emergency.
I encourage you to continue these conversations at home, too. Talk with your child about what to do during an emergency, who they can trust for help, and your family's procedures outside of school. When school and home work together, we help our Eagles feel safe, prepared, and confident. 💙
💐 Carrying on the Giesinger Legacy
This week, Imogene Giesinger's family sent me the most beautiful flowers, and I wanted to share this with you because this thoughtful gift meant so much to me. To me, it represents something much bigger—it is a beautiful reminder of who Mrs. Giesinger was and the legacy we have the privilege of carrying on every day.
We are proud to represent Conroe ISD, and we also have the incredible honor of representing Imogene Giesinger and the love she had for her students, friends, family, and community.
I have heard so many wonderful stories about Mrs. Giesinger—how she radiated joy in every room she entered and truly loved everyone she met. What a beautiful legacy to leave behind.
And the best part is, I see her legacy living on in our staff every single day. Our staff genuinely loves our Eagles and their families. We are proud to wear the Giesinger name on our shirts and see her name each morning as we walk into our building. It is more than the name of our school. It is a reminder of the love, joy, and care we want every person to feel when they walk through our doors.
I hope you and your family have already felt the Giesinger love through your experiences with our school. I hope your children come home knowing they are cared for, celebrated, and surrounded by people who want the very best for them.
Please remember, if you ever need something, have a question, or simply want to talk, call or email me. We are here to work together. Your children mean the world to us, and it is truly a privilege to be part of their lives.
Thank you for trusting us with your Eagles and for being part of the Giesinger family. 💙

🚗 Car Rider Parents:
CAR RIDERS:
Parents, if you would like to buckle your student in, please pull into an available parking spot to get them safely settled. Please pull all the way forward and stay close to the car in front of you. This helps us keep the line moving smoothly and prevents unnecessary gaps. Car rider dismissal will continue to get faster and smoother each day! 🚗💙 Please plan to be in the car rider line by 3:10 PM. Once the car rider line has cleared, after 3:30 PM, parents will need to park, come inside, and show a photo ID to pick up their child. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, efficient, and moving!
Breakfast- Will be served starting at 7:15-7:55, unless there is a late bus.
If your student eats at school, you must get them to school on time.

Bus Transportation Update
Planning on having your student ride the bus this year? Please ensure you have completed the online bus registration as soon as possible.
For families who have already registered, thank you so much for your patience while the school district works on building the final routes! Route assignment currently takes between 7 to 10 days. We appreciate your understanding as the district works to get every child routed safely!
Morning Bus Stop Reminder:
Please make sure your child is at the bus stop and ready to board a few minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Buses are on a schedule and cannot wait for students who are not at the stop. If your child is not present when the bus arrives, the driver is instructed to continue the route. Thank you for helping us keep our buses running safely and on time!
SMART TAGS
All students will receive a SMART Tag for their backpack. This tag is used for transportation purposes. Students who ride the bus scan on and off the bus.

Please remember that in order to volunteer on campus (reading to a class, going on a field trip, helping, etc...), parents must have completed the Volunteer Background check for the district. This must be completed each year for every school where you will volunteer so if you have students at 3 different schools, you must complete it for all 3 schools. See link below.
