Dear RFISD Families and Staff,
As we head into April, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible accomplishments we’ve seen across our district in recent weeks. There is so much to be proud of, and it’s a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and support that define the RFISD community.
Our students continue to excel at every level. At the elementary level, our UIL participants delivered outstanding results, showcasing both their academic talents and their commitment to excellence. We also have several groups who have competed at the state level over the last few weeks, including powerlifting and bowling, and we continue to see strong performances from teams and organizations whose seasons are still underway. It’s an exciting time, and we are proud of each student representing Randolph with such pride.
April is also a special time in RFISD as we recognize the Month of the Military Child. We are especially proud of our military-connected students and the strength, resilience, and adaptability they demonstrate each day. We look forward to celebrating Purple Up Day on April 10, and I encourage everyone to join us in wearing purple as a visible show of support for our military children.
As we look ahead, I also want to share that we are beginning the process of selecting a new Athletic Director for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an important decision for our district, and we value the input of our community. In the coming days, we will be sending survey links via ParentSquare to provide student-athletes, parents, and staff the opportunity to share feedback as we develop the profile of our ideal candidate. I encourage you to take a few moments to participate—your voice matters in this process.
We are also entering an important academic testing season. While this time of year can bring added pressure, it’s important that we continue to support our students by encouraging focus, preparation, and balance. Our teachers and staff are working hard to ensure students feel confident and ready, and your support at home makes a meaningful difference.
