HSS Family Newsletter

I hope that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving break! I am watching snow come down outside my school window as I type this. As long as the 'feels like' temperature is 10 degrees or above, our students go out for recess. Thank you for ensuring that they have all of their snow gear and that it is labeled. Sharpie on the tags works well.

Parent teacher conferences are happening on Thursday afternoon and all day on Friday. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you haven't already scheduled a conference. We all look forward to sharing your student's school successes with you.

Here are the optional spirit days for the month of December.

Please join at the Kilton Library for a Sing Along, Friday at 2 pm sponsored by the Upper Valley Music Center

A big thanks to everyone who joined us for our movie night last Friday! We had a great turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy the delicious movie theater popcorn.

Our next event will be the Family Barn Dance in late January, so keep your eyes out for information related to that coming out after break.

The Cultural Celebration Committee will be meeting on Tuesday December 17 at 8:00PM over Zoom to discuss upcoming celebrations including: Lunar New Year, Black History Month, Tu BiShvat, and more! If you're interested in getting involved, please email Laila at labdo48@gmail.com
