A Message from the President
We are T minus 3 months to my favorite event of the year, the Annual School Safety Conference! I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. Our team has been working tirelessly to create an experience that is both professionally impactful and personally memorable, and this year’s conference is shaping up to be one of our best yet.
Be sure to read through this newsletter carefully, as we’ve introduced several new features and updates designed to enhance your experience. We’ve transitioned to a new website, so please take a moment to update your profile and confirm your PID number to help streamline your check-in process at the registration desk in July. While you’re at it, download the new GlueUp app! It will provide real-time updates on sessions, locations, and events, and will allow us to efficiently track attendance throughout the conference.
We are also excited to bring you an incredible lineup of events made possible by the continued support of our vendors and sponsors. Don’t miss your chance to participate in our Rally Up raffle for an opportunity to win a Staccato HDP4. Tickets are available through July 7th, and anyone can enter, so be sure to share with friends and family. In addition, Staccato has partnered with Corpus Christi PD to host a FREE Range Day for attendees! We’re also thrilled to announce TASRO Night with the Corpus Christi Hooks at Whataburger Field.
Our annual awards luncheon will feature an unforgettable theme, and we encourage you to submit nominations for outstanding officers, administrators, and agencies. Scholarship opportunities are also available, so be sure to review those links as well. And of course, we’ll be bringing back our Annual Cornhole Tournament—Texas style (bigger and better).
As you can see, we have an action-packed week planned full of meaningful training, valuable networking, and plenty of fun. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time. If your agency is still considering, I encourage you to share our updated “Why TASRO” flyer. Should you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Regional Director or any member of the Board. We are here to help.

We are excited to share our new APP!!
Go to your APP STORE and download the My Glue from Glue Up app. Register using your email that you use for the TASRO website.
This APP will house the agenda and other information for the upcoming conference. You can even choose events you are interested in, making it much easier to keep track of classes, events, and meet ups during the week!
