Friday night is first responders and military appreciation night. Free admission with an id or uniform and we will be recognizing those around 6:50, right before kickoff. Let your people know we’re inviting any and all first responders and military!

The ASVAB will be given on November 13th at 9:30 AM. Sign-ups begin October 20th. The ASVAB is a career exploration test that helps students identify their strengths and explore potential career paths, including military and civilian options. Be sure to register if you are interested in taking it.

Balfour will be here Wednesday Oct. 15th to set up a table with information about Rings and Cap & Gowns.

It’s time for the FFA Meat & Sweets Fundraiser as we enter autumn!

We have hams, turkeys , and many other meat items (peppered bacon, hunter’s pack, and premade sausage patties to name a few of our favorites), along with ready-to-bake cookies and other delicious dessert items.

Just like last year, you can shop and pay with debit/credit ONLINE at shop.freshcountry.com.
Select Caddo Mills FFA for the organization and then choose a student to get credit for the sale.

Orders must be prepaid and will be delivered before Thanksgiving.

We can drop off products at any CMISD campus for your convenience when they arrive. Please email Mrs. Watkins if you'd like campus delivery so you are not overlooked!

Little Lone Star is donating a portion of each sale back to the campus designated in each order. I’ve posted on the district site. Feel free to promote and get money for your campus.

Little Lone Star loves CMISD so they are making these cute garden flags. They will donate 50% of the proceeds to the school you designate upon ordering. Three options below to choose from. Each flag is $27 dollars plus tax.

Pre-Orders go through October 1st. Once the orders are closed, there is a two week turn around time to receive your order. Give back to our awesome schools. Visit their page if you have questions. The State Fair of Texas runs from September 26 to October 19.

The PSAT and SAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Students who would like more information or have questions should visit the counseling office.

As we prepare for upcoming student events, we want to make you aware of our updated check-in process through the Raptor system. This system is designed to increase safety and efficiency, but it does require a few important steps on your part.

What You Need to Know:

Download the Raptor Safe App – To walk up, scan a QR code, and receive a badge, you must download the Raptor Safe app and complete your profile. This includes uploading a picture and scanning your driver’s license. Once verified, your QR code will update to reflect your completed status.

Registration Only Is Not Enough – If you only register for the event without completing the app profile, you will have a QR code, but you will still be required to show and scan your ID at check-in before receiving a badge. This step takes additional time.

Verification Matters – If you do not see the green check, it means you have not accepted the invitation in the app—even if you already scanned your license. Be sure to log in, accept the invitation, and confirm your account details.

Green Shield Reminder – If you see a green shield but not a check, it means you still need to upload your license image. Please double-check that your profile is fully complete.

If you are attending a pep rally and your Raptor app does not say “Verified Profile” under your profile picture, please plan to arrive a little earlier to allow extra time for check-in.

We will have 3 lines for parents:

1. Registered with Verified Profiles - These individuals have completed all steps to sign up for Raptor Safe. They will scan a QR code and enter the building.

2. Registered without Verified Profiles - These individuals will have to scan their driver's license with the Raptor Safe app before entering.

3. Unregistered - If you have not registered at all through the Raptor Safe app, please ensure that you arrive with plenty of time to be processed by our staff through our Raptor Kiosk.

Important Reminders:

Completing the steps now saves time later. Once your profile is verified, you will not need to upload your license again.

Parents who miss the RSVP window are not guaranteed to make it into the event on time due to check-in lines.

We appreciate your patience as everyone adjusts to this updated process. While it may take some training and practice, once parents complete the steps, the system works smoothly and saves time for everyone.

If you will be getting your license later in the year, please make sure to purchase a parking pass when you begin driving to school. You can do that at any time during the year.
